The Bewilder

It was a fair day in Abu dhabi, it was a fair afternoon to be exact, me and my team planned to make a short film that has no words to be said “a silent film indeed” only the emotions and the sound effect will give you the chill and thrill. We intentionally make this film to make a trailer of a short movie about the obligation of people in our community.

We have to make it more interesting and catchier so that people will like it. It is in a thriller category where you will wait for every scene. The film is entitled “the Bewilder” it is the best word to describe what you will feel after you watch the short fim.

We have prepared that script on the spot depending on the available place and time, this short film had no budget, nothing even a single centavo. We want to tell all the viewers that you don’t need a big production in doing great films, it is all about your creative mind, that’s what I want to share to everybody that you should not let poverty to hinder you in creating fantastic things. You just need to trust God do your best and God will do the rest.

The short film message is you should not sleep during viewing or replay of the thanks giving in the only church in the Bible that we are Members of Church of God International (MCGI) because in Hebrews 10:25 it says- Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

We are only two in the production, John Dale Reyes as the videographer and editor and me as the director and the script writer, we accidentally have Alden as the actor, yes accidentally we don’t plan it, he just drop by to do something, yes instant actor, and the cook, the mother of John Dale is really cooking something in that moment so we took the opportunity to asked her to be part of the film and luckily she said yes.

We really want to make it like; he (Alden) is running and hiding from someone that wants to take his life and while running he saw an abandoned house to hide and the sinister (John Dale) is following him to kill him, just to make a twist and plot of the story. The real story is, Alden is late for the viewing and he rush to a room where the viewing took place and after wards he fell asleep because of tiredness, as he listens to the word of God so the guest coordinator is there to help him by waking him up and gave him a cup of coffee to make him awake and attentive to the preaching in the thanks giving.

So that's all!
