The Liberation (Grand Plan Series) – 'The Road' (ORIGINAL STORY AND PHOTOGRAPHS) Part #6

The road exchanges landscapes under the great wide sky. We travel by large fields and long rivers. Impressions alternate, our days pass like small fragments of painted glass in an old kaleidoscope. We step along the paths of life and fill our beings with the essence of Energy, the core of beauty itself. And it’s exactly why it doesn’t matter how tough is the road, nor how long it will last. As far as I am concerned, we don’t even need to make it on time.

We slither like two insignificant snails in a world of octane giants who believe to be much more in different circumstances, somewhere where their bodies aren’t buffeted by the gusts of wind from the speeding vehicles. Almost invisible dust, combined with the feeling of sticky sweat and our own body odor, creates strongly manifested counterpoint to all the beauty around us. I don’t’ mind it anymore, I’ve grown accustomed to the gray dust that became a part without which the adventure wouldn’t be complete.

In the beginning of our voyage the pain was hindering us and causing numerous halts. With time, the blisters hardened and now it’s much easier to traverse the distance. Even though we walk longer and are less tired, the most beautiful presents are the nights we decide to spend in comfortable apartments along the route.
