Don't pick up

"When your past calls, don't answer. It has nothing new to say.

This really resonated with me today. I think many people including myself have let their past get in the way of their future success. It makes it very hard to achieve success if your constantly dwelling over the mistakes, or even the successes, of your past. What happened in the past can stay in the past, and it's much more important to both enjoy the current moment and look to the future.
