In this part of the world, we "success-shame".

In this part of the world, we "success-shame". We criticise people on their success and we dwell on the success the person could have achieved, but gave up to achieve what s/he has achieved.

There's just something in us that makes us want to make success ugly and not at all desiring.

It is daunting.

So he graduates at 30, you remember your niece graduated when she was 21, no big feat.

She is made Managing Director of her company, you remember she's unmarried, therefore she's incomplete.

She gets pregnant at 40. You remember there is no husband somewhere, she's just a baby mama.

He is President of the company, you remember he has just girls and nobody to carry on his Legacy.

Is it a sort of psychological disorder to always make us feel more and the person feel less? Could we be genuinely happy for people without giving reasons whatever is being achieved is less of a feat?

But if your life is so perfect and you have all what you've ever desired, you can continue finding the reasons. You will be fine las-las.
