SUNSCREEN-HOME MADE
I will share with you a simple recipe for making a homemade sandalwood sunscreen.
Sandalwood also helps in skin brightening.
Ingredients:
2 teaspoons coconut oil
1/4 cup beeswax
1 tsp sandalwood powder
10 drops of essential oil ( optional)
Procedure:
Using double boiler method melt the coconut oil and beeswax together over a low flame.
When it is melted, remove from heat and let it cool down
Now, add the sandalwood powder, and essential oil (if you use).
Transfer this mixture to a clean, sterilized container with a lid.
Allow the sunscreen to solidify, completely before use.
Apply this sunscreen to exposed skin areas before going out in the sun, and reapply every few hours or after swimming or sweating.
I usually use sandalwood daily. I'm having 5 sandalwoods with me, i was very dark and started usig it at the age of 16 now im 5 to 6 shades lighter than before. Thanks to god nature.
