The Daytona International Speedway was the venue for the round 10 of the Monster Energy Supercross series and the 50th Anniversary Daytona Supercross race. That is a pretty significant milestone in any series and man did the riders turn up the heat!

The track was one of the most unique and brutal i have seen in a long time and was great to see some of the oldskool vibes back in the G.O.A.T Ricky Carmichael's track design. Super tight sections were the call of the day and those long straights... the 450 SX class certainly got to stretch those engines out.

A late charge by Monster Energy Kawasakis star man Eli Tomac saw him work his way through the pack and sneak past a dominant Ken Roczen to retake hold of the shared red plate but man, there is nothing between these guys right now. Tomac had the history though to see him through as he took yet another win at Daytona. This track is always his strongest on the Supercross calendar so Roczen should not be too surprised. Let's check how the rest of the nights action went down.
