Surfing changes lives. Take you to new places, let you meet new people and lets you discover more about youself on what you can do more in all aspects of your life. Everything in surfing is just so magical. From the first time we caught our first wave and by the time we bought our first board. When I got my own board, I had it all to myself. I surfed whenever and wherever I wanted. Of course, there'll come a time where we might ding, damage or even break our boards. So, I did and I have to fix it myself. That was the time that I began to experiment and study about how surfboards are fixed and how they're made and it struck me. I had the courage or the foolishness to take all of the glassing off my dingged up board and I ended up reshaping the whole thing. I liked it. I was hooked. I had an awesome experience connected to surfing while on dry land and was even more exhilirated when I rode a wave on my reshaped board once more. I felt like I was even more connected to it than before. Like I put a part of my soul into the work that I done to the once dingged up board of mine. I came to realize that this is probably how surfboards shapers feel about their work, the heart, the passion and the dedication. That was the moment that i decided to make my own board instead of buying them. A new road to travel on the same vehicle. A new skill to master and enjoy at the same time. It's like I have found my place and the thing that I wanted to do.
