On or about August 30th 2017, a routine stolen car operation being conducted by a joint California Higgeay Patrol and Sacramento Sheriff's department went awry. One of the suspects was armed with an AR 15 or AK 47, which he took and fired through a hotel door, hitting two CHP officers, wounding them seriously. The gunman then took the balcony to escape firing off a bullet at one of the Sheriffs, killing him almost instantly. The suspect jumped into a waiting car, sped off, was shot, crashed, and is now hospitalized in critical condition. This is the wrecked car. His cohort was caught nearby the collision.
Please share the back story. Thanks.

Ok. He brought it on himself then. Thought it was a case of police brutality.
