Candy and walnut turtles

in #sweet7 years ago

Ingredients:

  • 350 g of soft toffee candies
  • 1 cup and a half roasted nuts cut into halves
  • 225 g of cookies
  • Chocolate chips to melt

Elaboration:

  • Put vegetable paper in a baking tray and place a row of cookies. Sort the pieces of nuts so that there are four pieces on each cookie, each with the most pointed edge in a different direction so that they look like legs.
  • Heat the candies in the microwave until they melt, stirring more or less every 30 seconds. Cool a little, and then pour a spoonful of melted caramel over the crackers with nuts.
  • Melt the chocolate chips in the microwave or in a bain-marie. With a spoon you can pour the melted chocolate on the caramel layer.
  • Let the sweets stand, either at room temperature or in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
