Do you struggle with what’s holding you back?
Get over it!

[Promise by Thomas Bergerson]
I remember once I saw a Nike commercial featuring a man with no arms or legs who was climbing a mountain and I thought to myself. If he can do that then I can start a business. Whenever I see videos like that I sometimes say to myself “what is wrong with me?, why aren’t I going harder with what I want to do with my life?” and I think a lot of us have had that same thought pattern when we see such videos. What are you struggling with that is holding you back and how can you learn from the person who was climbing the mountain? There are a few traits that these people have that you can start embodying today to live your life.
(Nike commercial feat Kyle Maynard)
- Unbreakable tenacity– these people have extremely strong willpower. Now I don’t know if being handicapped gives someone an advantage or not but it seems to me that people who go through hard times especially if they persevere usually these people go really far in life. It astounds me how people who have had a rough time especially in their youth or early adult years end up becoming successful later in life sometimes even changing the world. What if you had that unbreakable tenacity? that you are going to be hungry for the success that you want in life, that you are not going to stop until you win. With that kind of mindset you would be unstoppable
1.Proving something– sometimes there are people who oppose us on our ideals. They say “you can’t do that, you don’t have the skills, the degree, the experience, the connections etc” And sometimes that can push someone to prove that person or people wrong. Someone that wants to prove something to someone not only does it to show the other person that it’s possible but also for themselves. Having someone, anyone tell you that you can’t do something can be a great motivator for you if you are the kind of person who gets fueled by making that person feel inaccurate.
1.Center of attention- now this may sound pretty selfish but sometimes people just want to be the center of attention. They want to be known for something, to leave a footprint in the world. I think that at a lot of people’s cores the vast majority of us want to be famous or known for something, well at least in the United States anyway. But that drive to be known, to be famous, to leave a footprint, or to advance society in some way is another factor that can drive people to accomplish goals that were originally well beyond their reach.
Which one of these 3 traits do you possess or would like to possess? If none of them appeal to you what trait would you like to develop in your life?

Wonderful music, thank you for sharing, @remelsy
As for which trait I possess or would like to possess, it's the third. I want to leave a footprint. I want to make a difference for the people I touch.
In fact, I want to change the bad things and make them good.
I think I'll start by working on myself :D
Lol just make sure the bad doesn't corrupt you in the process. I want to have number 1 as my strongest asset but it’s a continuous work in progress
Not bad either :) In fact, I'm mixed about those goals. I wouldn't want too much attention, but I would want more tenacity and strength. And to do good.
Thanks for the encouragement. In terms the of the traits, I think tenacity is at the core of everything. When you learn to become like flowing water then no matter how big the rock (hurdle) in your life, you can overcome it. It is an interesting trait, and something I am working towards building myself. Some of the hurdles that I experience come in the form of doubts, the need for certainty, limited thinking. At the end of the day I believe we always persist with things naturally that are close to our heart. Happy Writing. Cheers! :)
Yeah right on there’s a book that elaborates more on this trait that I’m reading right now called The obstacle is the way
The second one could provide the answer for all the naysayers who don't understand earning money from the internet. Ever tried explaining to someone what it is you do?
It’s crazy either they think it’s a scam or magic 😂
Your post was resteemed👍
The one trait I posses is tenacity! "I go hard" in everything I do to build myself and to attain a life changing goal. My issue is consistency, the lack thereof rather and this has always led me to failure. I am working on it though. I do believe that disabled people are born with an iron will but they do develop it as they go through life. They realised how disadvantaged they are for being born in a certain way and that is the very same disadvantage that fuels them to work harder in life than "normal" people.
The song is a nice touch to this post. Kudos to you.
