Happy #tarottuesday, steemians!

I’ve been rushed off my feet this last week so I haven’t posted anything at all. But how could I miss #tarottuesday?!

This week, I’m again using the Mythic Tarot. The first deck I ever used so it has a special place in my heart. Tricia Newell’s gorgeous illustrations are packed with symbolism, but remain accessible to readers of all levels of experience.

As usual I've drawn three cards for you this week and I invite you to pick 1, 2, or all 3 cards, in any order you like. Whatever feels right for you.

So choose your card(s)!

The symbols and archetypes in the cards provide us with ideas to focus upon, or new ways of looking at things which you hadn't previously thought of. So, whatever comes up, remember to use your own judgement and intuition in any decision making.

Let's see what came up this week...

The Hermit

The Hermit has number nine. Nine is the final single digit number before the level up to two digits. It therefore contains a complex mix of all the other numbers, just on the verge of being consolidated into the new cycle announced by ten.

Do you know someone who always seems to be able to solve things, but who needs a lot of alone time? That is the essence of The Hermit. The light with which to see the way comes from careful, reasoned thinking away from distractions. Make time for that. But don’t shut yourself away from the world too much. Little and often, clear away distractions and let your thoughts just happen and eventually come to rest. This consolidation of thought will allow you to ‘see’ the way much better.

Queen of Wands

As court cards, Queens can be considered numberless. They represent the ultimate feminine energy of the suit.

We’re looking at a creative, charismatic woman here. Does she represent you, or somebody in your environment? This card may be trying to inspire you to be an active torch-bearer, helpfully getting involved in activities with others and shining a light on solutions. But it may also be holding a mirror up to the ways people become over-involved and interfering in the affairs of others, or to the stifling over-parenting of children. As with all things, balance is key. Her flaming wand can light the way, but it can also burn.

Six of Pentacles

In tarot, the sixes speak of steady balance in your interactions. They have their roots in The Lovers, and all good relationships require a balance of give and take.

This card may be inviting you to revisit the balance of give and take in your life. Is there more you could give? Are there things in your attic that you never use which could benefit somebody else? Could you exhibit more patience? If so, give within your means. On the other hand, are you too proud to accept help when it’s offered? Are you stubbornly struggling on alone, pretending to be okay? Take off that mask! Getting the balance of freely giving and taking right will make your journey seem effortless.

nice reading this week @t-a-r-o-t ! I have been slacking on posting as well but I can't miss #tarottuesday lol :-D

Queen of Wands for me this week - makes a lot of sense to me and the concepts I've been struggling with as of late - I want to be a light bearer but I have to find the right way for me. Thanks for that reminder to stay balanced <3

Thanks! Glad it made sense to you.

Oops, I just had to go back and correct some spelling mistakes in my post! Seems I'm not on the ball today :)
