Tarot Tuesday reading for the week of March 17th 2020
Happy Saint Patrick's Day, and welcome to another one of my Tarot Tuesday posts! I started doing these free readings monthly back in late 2015, then switched to every week in early 2016. They're by far my most popular posts, as well as being one of my favorites to put together. Today's reading is for the week of March 17th 2020.
I feel like I should say something, given the state the world is in, but the words just refuse to come out of my brain. I'm just going to go with - sending love out to everyone. ❤️
So now, back to the cards - the method of doing these is not my original idea - I was inspired by how a few other bloggers were doing their readings back years ago. And since this method is a little bit different than how some other readers on other social media do them, here's a quick breakdown on how this works...
First, pick a card you are drawn to from the photo below. If more than one speaks to you, go ahead and pick that one too. You can even pick all three, in whatever order you like! When you've decided on your card (or cards), scroll down to the bottom of the page for the photo revealing the card faces, and your message for the upcoming week.
Also, don't be worried if you don't happen to see this exactly on Tuesday. The message will be ready and waiting for you whenever you get here. 😊
I would also like to mention...
Here are the backs of the cards for this week. Take a moment to clear your mind, inhale and exhale deeply, center yourself - whatever you need to do to focus. When you're ready, take a look at the photo and then decide which one (or ones) speaks to you. Then scroll down to the bottom of the post for your message.
Next up, as a bit of insurance policy to make sure you don't see the picture of the front of the cards before you've made your choice, I'm putting a graphic here as a type of spacer/spoiler prevention. Since today is Saint Patrick's Day, I thought I'd share a couple of graphics I've put together over the years.
Finally, it's now time for the big reveal! Here are the fronts of the cards...
...and the messages for each card are...
1. Four of Swords
Take a break. You've been “Go Speed Racer Go” for some time now, and it's understandable that you're running out of gas. Time to pull over to a rest stop, refuel, and just relax for a bit. You need a little time off your feet (physically and mentally), so you can get back on the road and not worry about breaking down. And yes, this is one of those scary looking cards that tends to get misinterpreted, but I personally call this the "chill out" card. grin
Tarot Tidbit: The Four of Swords was last seen, also in the first position, just last month on February 25, 2020.
2. The Fool
Take that step! You have the chance to start down a new road, full of possibilities. Don't second guess yourself - trust where this path is taking you, and make that leap! While you've been worrying that you're not ready, and you still have to gather your things, just look - you're already carrying everything you need with you. One word of caution - make sure you watch where you're going. If you get caught up in the excitement, and start daydreaming while staring at the clouds, you may find yourself stepping off a cliff. Simply pay attention to your surroundings, put one foot in front of the other, and your journey will be magical.
Tarot Tidbit: The Fool was last spotted, in the first position, a couple months ago on January 28th, 2020.
3. Four of Wands
Celebrate your groundwork. It's not done yet, but one of the most important steps - putting down the framework and laying the foundation - is complete. Maybe it's a project, a relationship, or an actual home - in any case, it's time to sit back for a bit, and celebrate this achievement. Things will only grow bigger and better from here. And keep in mind what David Brinkley said - "A successful man is one who can lay a firm foundation with the bricks others have thrown at him."
Tarot Tidbit: The Four of Wands was last seen, also in the third position, earlier in the winter on December 17th, 2019.
I hope you enjoyed your message for the week of March 17th 2020! Bright blessings to you!

The Four of Swords... think that's pretty apt given the start of the year and where we are now! Definitely feeling like a break is on the cards (no pun intended)!
Great to see these still happening Traci!
Sending St Patrick's Day juju your way!
