Bakso Keningau is a fusion ‘bakso’- a kind of soup mixed with chicken, beef, meat balls, fish cakes etc.. etc..etc . You can have it with noodles, rice porridge or plain as it is.

Keningau (a district in the interior) born Diana Imbayan brought this delicious, tasty an invigorating soup mixture with a twist that would surely get rid of your hangover especially if taken with the sambal belacan - spicy sweet condiment with a bite of prawn paste, also homemade by Diana.

Diana says the soup base is cook with local herbs in chicken broth everyday in the early hours to bring the fresh and best soup for customers. True to her words, the soup has a solid taste herbs and sweetness of chicken broth. The variety of mixtures allows you to enjoy variety of flavours too. In short it’s rich in taste and a must try if you are in a neighborhood.

After enjoying your Bakso Keningau, another must try is the Bomboloni. My favourite is the chocolate filled.

Delicious review! So much filling in that sweet

That looks so delicious!!

Those both look really delicious! The meat-egg-noodle-soup seems an interesting combination but I can imagine it working well.

Some could prefer the chocolate doughnut but I would pick the soup.
