Zô Nguyễn - It's just out of this world !
When it comes to my favorite restaurant, it would be definitely Zô Nguyễn. It has 3 branches but the one on Nguyen Trai street is my preference. Why is that? There are 3 main reasons for that.
The first thing we should think of is, of course, the taste. My friends and I have eaten there for over 3 times. So, I guess I did experience enough to be able to judge the taste of the food there. Honestly, the food is phenomenal ! All the dishes are really tasty and deep. I’m pretty sure that you can’t find other places that offer those delicious dishes with the same amount of money.
The drinks there are extremely delicious though the price is not so cheap. But in my case, I think it’s affordable. They serve bottles of beer including Heineken, Hanoi beer, Sai Gon special beer and some other foreign brands. There is also alcohol for adults. Sometimes we order alcohol and it is exceptional as well. As for kids, the restaurant offers soft drinks : Coke, Seven up, Spite, etc.
The restaurant offers 24 different dishes which are :
• Chicken soup
• Sweet green bean gruel
• Barbecued pork
• Shrimp
• Squid
• Potato chips
• Frog served with vegetables
• Curry with chicken’s wings
• Bird’s eggs
• Fried Fish
• Beef rolled by enoki mushroom
• Bread served with butter and garlic
• Octopus
• Fried mussel
• Clam
• … etc
I can’t list them all. But through those dishes, you can probably imagine how many dishes. You need to get the dishes by yourself by bringing some plates there to get them. Remember to get enough with your demand, getting too much is not highly recommended.
Secondly, it’s the price. Absolutely !
The restaurant has 4 floors, the VIP room is on the top of the building. This is a buffet restaurant, so you just need to pay for the ticket to order any dishes you wish. One ticket cost 99k (~ 4 USD). That price doesn’t include VAT. It’s dirt cheap actually, compared to other buffet eateries. I highly recommend this place to those who are living on a budget like me. It’s very suitable for students.
Last but not least, the views inside the restaurants are incredible. Those are very beautiful and well-decorated. The ambiance is so cozy that you will feel like having a warm party in a palace. Look at my pictures to experience that. The lights there are very bright too. It’s the best place for taking photos to save memorable moments with your close friends. In addition, the staffs are extremely friendly. They are always willing to help you enthusiastically.
I think I will definitely come back there in the near future. If you haven’t known this restaurant yet, you should try to go there and enjoy. I hope you will have great time with your family and your friends in the restaurant ! :)
