I certainly contemplated a weeknight, but I also know many where that time after work is family time, or rest and recover time and socialising during the week isn't possible, so I went with what I thought was the most likely to be acceptable. That's not to say others won't suggest a weeknight and run one on a Tuesday or something. This is just getting the ball rolling, and I'm sure there'll be some talk about days and locations at the event too
Can't keep everyone happy can we lol. Just pick a date/time that suits most.
That's the plan for the future, but for now it's more a matter of just getting something happening at all!
