Is it correct to assume that if your crypto wallet supports the pending forks in bitcoin etc. That I don't have to do anything?
I have been reading and reading and still can not confirm in my head. I know i'm weird but at least I'm honest. I'm having a brain malfunction at the moment.

    That's correct. It should say somewhere on the site. Exodus is a good wallet (if you're not using it). Download the latest version which apparently supports bitcoin gold.
