HERConference | @myach collaborated event with herportal
It was another day of having the opportunity to promote the Steem Platform to a group of enthusiastic women organized by @angiechin28 ( 3rd from the right )
The turnouts were surprisingly high and there were numerous speakers and "sponsors" which has placed their booth up to display their products and services.
There were numerous speakers from various industries sharing their experiences and their journey towards entrepreneurship and also shared some tips on growing ones business.

I managed to showcase Steem & Steemit to the audience and had a good amount of questions coming from them. All questions were almost similar to my other events like -
- How does Steemit pay ?
- Where does the money come from ?
- Does the platform own my content ?
- What can I post about ?
- Is crypto currency legal in Malaysia ?
- How can I cash out ?
With keen interest shown from the audience, I'm sure that we would get a great crowd coming onto our Steem Community #teammalaysia very soon. This would be great to be able to startup our next phase of Growing Steem In Malaysia which would be :-

For the legal part ... The Star Online reports, “Bank Negara Malaysia is developing the regulatory structure for digital currencies, and from 2018 persons converting crypto currencies into fiat money currencies will come under anti-money laundering law,” he notes. Such persons “would be designated as reporting institutions under the Anti-Money Laundering, Anti-Terrorism Financing and Proceeds of Unlawful Activities Act 2001.”
So yea ... i encourage anyone to just declares taxes for income received and converted to MYR.
