Baby Izz Food Review 001

in #teammalaysia7 years ago

My youngest daughter - Izz - loves to eat. Especially rice. She eats rice at an average of three (3) times a day. In the morning for breakfast, afternoon for lunch and in the evening for dinner. She loves to eat rice with chicken, and munch veggies in between. Other than chicken, just so-so. When she is hungry, she will pull my hand and take me to the rice cooker. And the best thing, the moment I open the rice cooker, she will take deep breaths, inhaling the fragrance of the newly-cooked rice into her nostrils enjoying it very much. It looks so funny that I will usually laugh at her, and she will laugh too!

She also eats other food like bread, noodles and cookies, but not as much. Instead, she prefers fruits in between meals. I usually give her papaya, mango, orange, apple and banana. She loves banana the most! Every time I take a banana to her, her eyes will brighten up like there are stars in there. My mother-in-law loves the fact that Izz is not a picky eater and eats a lot at every meal time, because she believes that a toddler whose tummy is full is a happy toddler. A toddler who is contented is not cranky and easy-going. And Alhamdulillah, Izz is one easy-going baby. She tags along where ever I go, sleeps anywhere, and eats everything. It is just so easy to bring her to outings, gatherings and even late night outings.

Speaking of late night outings, a few weeks ago while we were in Penang, after my husband was done with work, we decided to have dinner at Hard Rock Cafe just to celebrate the end of his hectic 2-days audit. We went out quite late at that time, and arrived the cafe 5 minutes to half past ten. As soon as we arrived at the cafe reception, we were told that only adults of 21 years old and above are allowed to enter since the live band will start to perform soon. But we told them that we were there only for dinner and not for the live band. We even told them that we came all the way from KL and just wanted to have dinner there, and despite it is our bad that we arrived late we hoped that we will be allowed to do so.

The staff looked at each other and they told us that they were actually worried about my little girl who was sleeping on my shoulder. My husband and I let out a small laugh and asked them not to worry. This little girl can even sleep in a karaoke room or a jamming studio! They laughed and let us in with a condition we were allowed to only have 1 hour. We thanked them profusely and stepped in.

And true enough, Izz slept the whole time in the cafe as the live band rocks on. My husband and I really had a good time being served delicious food and enjoyed the live band. At the end of the date, I told my husband perhaps we should do this more often. He said yes of course, only the two of us. I then laughed, pity my handbag lah! So cute baby, cannot leave with the grandparents like the sisters. Hahaha.

Back to the food topic, I love to capture videos of Izz eating on my InstaStory and one day my brother came up with an idea of placing videos of Izz eating on YouTube. He does graphic design, illustration, animation and everything in between for a living, therefore he volunteered to edit the videos before uploading them. I simply agreed since I do not have any objection.

It is hoped that this sole video will be a stepping stone to produce more cute videos of Izz! Hope that you enjoy the video and let me know what you think of it.

Thank you!
