Blenderization! Resistance is Futile!

The time is now!

I have been the user of 3Ds Max for over 10 years now and finally I am getting tired of the slow development and the plugin mess you got to go through just to get things done. Plus its getting ridiculously expensive!

Blender is one develeper and it has lately landed the financial support from Epic, apart from others like Google for its development and everything about Blender is totally free!

The weight on my workstation is lifted by a lot and not to mention the loading time is the fastest compared to any other 3d softwares in the market. And let me repeat again....it is totally and completely free!

Blenderization! Resistance is Futile!

And this is my first complete render with it. Sure you can achieve this with any other 3d software in the market now. But the features that I always struggle with others such as fog and DOF is relatively easy with Blender. For example I just clicked on the character in the camera setting and have it focused on it. Easy!

The look is of course achieved with the little bit artistic knowledge of composition and lighting. This has been rendered at 4K resolution and done is around 12 hours. A bit long I know but with DOF and volumetric fog...plus the light load on RAM, its perfect and I am extremely happy about it!
