MAPS (Movie Animation Park Studios) closure is to me, a huge missed opportunity. Especially after the massive success of recent animation titles, Upin Ipin Keris Siamang Tunggal, Boboiboy and Ejen Ali.

An opportunity missed to offer the experience for kids to meet up with the characters, and most important of all, to embed the moral lessons carried in each animation title.

Imagine having the chance to go in for a ride, going through all the local folklore or accomplishing all misson and in the end earn the rights to lift and hold the glowing Keris Siamang Tunggal.

Imagine the lifetime impact it will have to kids. Imagine the new height of appreciation they going to have towards local folklore and brands.

Only if there were prior planning. Hence the sad closure of what could’ve been a great platform for the local movie and animation industry.

Heck since it is known as Movie Animation Park Studios, let loose a plague of zombies from Zombi Kampung Pisang and teach kids not to become keyboard warriors, instead of just a generic fun fair rides and retails.

Heck it could’ve been a great venue for film and literature activities!

Brand merchandise! Imagine having your own Ejen Ali mask! Your own Keris Siamang Tunggal!

The possibility is unlimited. Just imagine if the right people ran the show.
