I had an amazing experience bringing a group of International Travellers to see this part of the world. They were very intrigued by the beauty of our hidden treasures. Today all of our places in Sandakan we visited with this great bunch of people were very supportive of our efforts to conserve of our endemic primates in Sabah, Borneo including the Borneon Orang Utan and Proboscis Monkey.

Sepilok Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre was establishment in 1964 to help and rescue the Orangutan due to lost of habitat and poachers. The objective of the centre is to help and rescue as much of they can from poaching and deforestation.

The Proboscis Monkey is endemic to the island of Borneo, the Monkey is quite unique and attractive because of the big dominant males nose which attracts a lots of visitors to Borneo.

Thank you and I really appreciate my guests for choosing to visit Sandakan. I hope I did my very best to deliver a message to them in order understand our objective in conserving our valuable treasures.
