Watched the first episode of The Crossing yesterday - pretty cool...

The Crossing - pretty cool series on Showmax. The first episode is about these people who start washing up on the shore.

My favourite types of movies I would classify as Post-Apocalyptic Dystopian Sci Fi.

Hunger Games with Jennifer Lawrence kind of falls into this cateogry but not totally. Because its not really sci fi.

Or actually maybe it is - they have those spaceship things that kind of float in the air. And yes it is definitely post-apocalyptic.

In high school I read a couple of Stephen King novels that I think were in this genre too. Haven't really been able to track them down again after that.
