@fred703. This is a factual post about Christ and I really enjoy every bit of it.I am particularly excited how you were able to state your points about Jesus,being a different personality from God.
This has been the error that many christians have held on to and not understanding that the God, is the Father of Jesus Christ.He is Christ's father because he begat Jesus Christ.While Christ was in divine form,He is the Word that is God.Not the same God but the Word God.To understand this,I will make an allusion to how each of us have its own name at christening,yet he bear it with our surname.The Surname being the family name.

So,it was with Christ in his prehuman form.He was given the name Word by His Father God.But for clear identification,the Word is God, being the family name which He has to bear.

Now in the case of God being called His Father,It is absolutely so, because when the Word would come into the world to save man from their sin,He came through the womb of Mary that have never had any sexual intercourse with any man.God' Spirit impregnated her.On that ground,God can be said to be Jesus Christ Father.That is why the word,"begotten" signifies that God,was the one that gave the seed that impregnated Mary and He then became Flesh that can dwell among us as humans.
