We South African's can greet you in a multitude of ways... Howzit, Hello, Sanibonani, Molweni, Hosh and many more. This is mainly due to the multitude of cultures we have and 11 official languages. Yep, E-le-ven!

Anyhow, that is not what this post is about but rather about the great support we've received all round.

Wow, is all I can say right now. It makes my heart smile seeing the great support coming in for teamsouthafrica's first competition, hosted by @therneau. Thanks to all of you for showing your support.

We've had a few entries already and they have been well received. I'd like to give a BIG shout out to @dragonslayer109 & @awgbibb for showing their support. This has helped some of the entries reach some solid numbers and I emplore all of Steemit, to go and show some love to Africa as well. Another great feat by Steemian's I've been blessed enough to witness was a cry for help from one of our teamsouthafrica members, @onetree. My oh my, did Steemit come right out and show her some solid support. Thank you to all those members involved. @onetree was overwhelmed with all the wonderful supporting comments and @surpassinggoogle also made his rounds and graciously upvoted so many of the comments, boosting @onetree and other members comments even more.

South African's are a great bunch of people but so too are other Steemian's. We're not quite going to open the floodgates to our group however all current members are welcome to drop some names of people they believe would slot in nicely with us. Also, if you're still reading this and not currently part of teamsouthafrica, you're welcome to add a comment below with a reason why you would like to become part of the group.
