Who is the top of the laptop market?
HP Technologies holds the top position in the global notebook market with 24.3 percent of the laptop market. Meanwhile, Apple has behind Taiwan's laptop maker Asus, who has captured 9.6 percent market share. Yesterday the market research firm Trendforces released the information.
According to a report by the Indo Asian News Service on TradeFor.com, the annual record of HP's notebook market was coming last year. In the year 2017, four million units of notebook market has released HP, which is 10 percent more than 2016.
In the year 2017, 16 million 47 lakh units of notebooks have come in the market, which is 2.1 percent more than the previous year.
Trendforge notebook analyst Kuo-Han Seng said, besides standing in the regional economy, notebook demand in North America has brought benefits to the market.
By updating the MacBook Pro model, Apple has increased their market for the full time of 2017. All the notebook brands have grown 18 percent, only MacBook Pro.
As compared to 2016, Apple's 2.1 percent market share increased to 9.6 percent, and they surpassed Asus. Apple has occupied the fourth place.
Asus occupies 9.5% market share.
Lenovo's laptop market share decreased by 4.9 percent compared to 2016 in 2016. At present, Lenovo's second position in the laptop market is 20.2 percent.
Dell is at the third position in the laptop market with 15.2 percent market share.
Acer is growing the Chromebook laptop market. Their market is growing in North America. Acer's Annual Growth Growth is 0.6 percent.
Market analysts say that the top six laptop brands in the year 2018 will occupy 89.1 percent of the market. It is less likely to occupy the market for other brands.
On the other hand, Shawumi and Huawei keep their growth in the Chinese market. But their position in the international market is not clear.
