WHEN JOBS/TASKS WILL BE TAKEN OVER BY MACHINES
Dont't expect to see a human behind the wheel of an 18-wheeler in 2027, or a set of human hands performing a delicate surgery in 2053. Sounds crazy, right? According to a new study from Oxford and Yale University researchers, artificial intelligence is slated to take over almost all human task. Lead investigators found that the tasks most likely to get aytomated within the next 10 years are rote, machanical tasks. More complex and creative tasks, like writing books and performing high-level math, will take longer. Ultimately, AI could automate all human tasks by 2051.
Watch out, the robots are coming!
All the labor-related stuff I can believe- it's pretty inevitable. But it'll be sad once they start gunning for the creative fields like music, writing, etc. I think people would be interested at first and I don't doubt the work would be quality on a technical basis, but art is so contextual that I don't think robots could hold people's creative interest for too long. Just my thought!
