NeverGear is coming? (Extraordinary, This Game Can Be Played with the Mind)
No need to joystick or gamepad, in this game you can move and interact with various objects in the game just through your mind.
This is being developed by a small startup company called Neurable. Recently, the pioneering company Ramses Alcaide, an electrical engineer and neurologist developed a game called Awakening.
In order for this game to work, the company combines HTC-made VR glasses and Electroencephalogram (EEG) sensors at seven specific points on the head. This sensor will serve to read the user's brain wave.
EEG sensors help users to perform activities in the game. For example when you want to take the ball, the user must focus on taking the ball with the mind.
If it is focused, then there will be small lights that appear. If the light is about the ball, it means the sensor already understands our intention to take the ball. Even so, this feature is still in development stage.
Although fairly new, this technology is quite promising in the future. The reason, the United States government and several large companies are investing their capital for the development of this kind of technology.
Even Facebook is looking for ways to take advantage of the VR with more sophisticated, like typing on a smartphone through the mind.
