Which email provider is more secure ?

in #technology6 years ago

When we talking about Mails first place in our mind Gmail because of Easy Interface and user friendly. But when it comes to security Gmail is compromised, because when you send message to some one that messages can read Gmail team and Monitors You. Which basis ads show in your mail, but not only Gmail Team in American CIA Team can also read and monitor your messages and they created your Profile in their Database. This is good for some times but our Privacy is compromised. This problem not only in Gmail some other platforms like Outlook, Yahoo mail etc....

Are you worried about the government using its legal powers to read your emails?

Are you worried about hackers getting into your email account?

But what is the solution for this?

The solution name is PROTONMAIL

PROTONMAIL goes to great lengths to ensure the security of your email, and have many methods of protecting your privacy that work behind the scenes. ProtonMail great features for highly sensitive communication.

First, ProtonMail communication is Switzerland Based Company, it protects strict privacy laws with no compromise.

Secondly, End to End Encrypted, this means when you send message to someone in between no one can read your message including proton mail team.

Third, ProtonMail has a feature that do not log your IP Address it means no one trace your IP Address its completely Anonymous. The default Basic setting does not track IP addresses but we recommend you change it to Advance to also save IP addresses in Settings --> Security.

More information and step-by-step instructions can be found here (https://protonmail.com/support/knowledge-base/authentication-logs)

Fourth, Message Expiration you can destroy with Expiration Feature. For example If they are setting an expiration time of 10 minutes and you check it any time after 10 minutes from the time it was sent, you will see a notification but no message.

Fifth Another Feature Encrypt messages for non-proton mail users. All messages in your ProtonMail inbox is stored end-to-end encrypted. This means we cannot read any of your messages or hand them over to third parties, the message body, and the attachments, are fully encrypted. This includes messages sent to you by non-ProtonMail users, although keep in mind if an email is sent to you from Gmail, Gmail likely retains a copy of that message as well.

Finally, proton mail recommends enabling two-factor authentication in Settings --> Security to make it even harder for attackers to gain access to your account. More information and step-by-step instructions can be found here (https://protonmail.com/support/knowledge-base/two-factor-authentication)

ProtonMail also provides encrypted email on your mobile device mobile applications are available for download from both the iOS App Store and the Google Play Store
