RE: Will The Human Species Split Into Two In The Future?

in #technology5 years ago

I think we have been on the verge of separating out into, if not species, then at least different societies. If Human 1 can still mate with and produce offspring with Human 2 are they really a separate species?

Human 2 may seem like an advantage, yet with all the elites power and knowledge, computer viruses still happen, and a lot of them are from no elitist. Computer and information protection is still improving but not completely there yet, if it ever will be.

One thing the early internet and social media has done is show the vast disparity among various levels of society. As time has progressed the level of internet disparity has decreased, but not the level of society disparity. Right now we are in the "Squeaky wheel" phase of society, at least here in the United States, where the loudest most noisy group get their way for awhile thinking that they are the pinnacle of righteousness.

Inner city society is completely different than penthouse society. The people think differently. Rural society is a lot different than City Society, and then real country society is as different to city and rural life as the difference between Inner city and penthouse life. Governments know this and they play each group morals, an ideals against each other.

I think we already have human 2, 3, 4, and 5. They can all procreate with each other, but they can not understand each others drives and motivations.

I totally agree with you that from a societal perspective, there are already n number of humans. Different levels live totally different lives and have different thoughts and perspectives about everything and the disparity is so high that it seems like we are already "different humans".

What I was talking about in the article was from a much more biological perspective, where we will be able to do stuff to our bodies to differentiate from each other and from the next 'level' of humans and how it has the potential to divide the already divided society even more, this time from a biological point of view.

Great thoughts by the way :)
