Apple is getting ready to put three new iPhone models to the market. Of course, there is no official statement from Apple's side regarding the issue, but sources close to the company claim that there will be three different iPhone models in different price ranges and features.

There are a lot of speculation about Apple's 2018 plans for iPhone. According to a new information, we may see three new iPhone models this year, each targeting a different price range and a customer segment.

A few days ago, there were new reports claiming that Apple could pull the recently released iPhone X out of the market. But according to The Investor's report, this will not be the case. The report says that iPhone X will continue to be sold as "the smallest and probably the cheapest full-sized iPhone" in the year 2018.

According to the same report, Apple is currently working on 5.85-inch and 6.46-inch iPhones. According to sources in Apple's supply chain, the company now demands more OLED screens than ever before.

According to DigiTimes, Apple is currently developing four different iPhone models and three of them will be on the market in 2018. These phones will have an LCD screen of 5.7-5.8 inches, an LCD screen of 6.0-6.1 inches, and an OLED model of 6.4-6.5 inches. Two LCDs and one OLED is the same strategy that Apple used last year on iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone X. According to DigiTimes, Apple is developing another 6.0-6.1-inch model, but it is just a testbed and won't evolve into a product.

The report also suggests that in the coming months, sales of the new iPhone SE 2, which Apple will put on the market by this spring, will surpass all full-sized iPhones on the market right now. This model will support wireless charging and will come with a glass back surface, but it is said that it will not support Face ID.

Thanks a lot. I'm glad you liked the article. Probably, it will be overpriced, since this is Apple that we are talking about. But still, Apple has huge resources and one always expects a solid innovation from them, that will justify the price.
