Qwant is a serious project that really deserves to be used. As for me, I've already started to set some of my browsers to be the default engine, and I'm very satisfied with it!
I happen to also personally know some of those who are working to improve its engine and algorithm, so I don't have a 100% impartial opinion either ^^
