will the upcoming iphone 8 be able to beat galaxy s8???

in #technology7 years ago

It has been 3 months since the release of one of the most anticipated smartphones of the year, samsung galaxy S8. Within one month of release the phone was sold 5 million units worldwide. Exynos 8895 or the snapdragon835 are the most powerful android processors yet along with a 4GB Ram, the S8 is surely a beast in terms of processing power, it also has 3000mAh battery which gets you a full day of charge without going through a round of charge. The S8 also has quickcharge 3.0 which fills up the battery within 30 minutes. Camera of the phone is one of the best built in any smartphone and has the best low light capability. The super AMOLED display of the S8 could be the best display ever produced, it has resolution of 1440P copared to the previous generation iphone which has only 750P. The S8 has the best screen to body ratio of 83%

In short it is one of the best smartphone ever built.

On the other hand the rumors of the upcoming iphone8 shows that the iphone may also have an amazing screen to body ratio. It would seem that the upcoming iphone would have 4GB Ram. Although nothing is clear about which processor would be used in iphone8. The dual lens configuration as in the iphone7+ would remain but may be changed into horizontal position as shown in the render.iPhone_8_Renders-980x420.jpg

The iphone may not be able to beat the S8 in terms of hardware but the newly announced IOS11 is going to be pre-installed in the iphone8 so in terms of software iphone8 may have an 'edge' over the S8 (pun intended).

Rumors also say the iphone8 would have a $100 bump from the price of previous iphone in terms of price.

The current price of Galaxy S8 is $750 whereas the price of the Iphone8 is rumored to be around $900.

Both the phones are beasts, but which one will prevail over the other? only time will tell. But if the rumors are true, the title of the best smartphone may go to S8. So to beat the S8 #teamapple would have to come up with something new and innovative (no, i do not mean bringing back headphone jack ; not that I would hate it) that would destroy the hype created by S8 since it's release.
