Apple is preparing for the launch of its 3th generation Apple Watch, the first and second watch from Apple weren't a great succes. But Apple fought back, insiders claim the 3th generation Apple Watch will be a musthave for sport fanatics. This new timepiece will hold the perfect balance between connectivity, utility and design.

The company jumped onto the smartwatch wagon in 2014, what had to be a commercial succes ended up in a financial headache. Apple presented the smartwatch as a beautiful allround watch for everybody to wear. but most of the customers did not recognize Apple's potential in making smartwatches and ran away to the compitition.

Apple learned from this mistake and the company went into a new direction. Sports and fitness is the niche Apple is tapping into since their second generation smartwatch, which is watertight and equiped with an internal GPS system. Apple will focus even more on sport and fitness funcionalities in the future. The latest rumors sounded like music to the ears of Apple Watch fans, according to

Bloomberg Apple's latest smartwatch model will not have to be connected to the iPhone anymore thus rendering it fully autonomous. Many customers saw the watch's dependency from the iPhone as a major drawback, having to by an iPhone in order to use the Apple Watch was good reason to buy from the competition.

New Technology and Design

A new LTE-chip will be intergrated for internet connection, making usage of the iPhone obsulete. Apple is not the first company that produces autonomous smartwatches with integrated internet connection. Last year Samsung launched the Gear 3, but Apple will bring it to the public like they've always done and make internet connectivity for smartwatches their own. The battery's longevity remains a mystery as the LTE-chip demands large amounts energy. Apple would not be the company it is without flirting with innovative design elements, unlike the iPhone 8 however no information on this topic has been leaked so far.

The 3th generation Apple Watch will become a hype similar to previous
Apple products in the past, but will this translate into a sales boom ?
