Soon we will not need the TV remote control
The British University of Lancaster has implemented the new technology called 'Matchpoint', which would have allowed the movement of a part of the body to control the various functions.
It is necessary to move the circular motion of one hand, head or even a foot, which is caught by a camera. Suffice to fit the body part with the function that needs to be controlled, for example, you can change channels by moving your head, the video shows a cursor that can manipulate it.
According to the ideators, this new technology, which in theory works with the movements of a toy, is useful above all when doing something else or simply not changing position when resting on the sofa.
It does not only work with the TV, it can also be used on a computer and tablet to control a video without having a touch screen or touch screen.
