Ah, I didn't know about that. Then again, doesn't Detroit's weather in June seem similar to Las Vegas all of the time - summer sun, compared to desert sun? Carmakers have often taken part in CES to show off their new tech, and as some have retreated from regular autoshows, they're moving to other conventions like CES.

As for other automotive stuff - Lamborghini's stuffed Amazon Alexa into their new Huracan Evo to control the car's infotainment and etc., while also allowing Alexa to help pay for petrol, but who needs it?! - Jeep's announced plug-in hybrid versions for some of their cars, including the Wrangler - and Fisker has launched the Ocean, a new crossover-EV which is priced below the Model 3, and it looks rather cool.

Thanks for the link... It's still surprising to see car manufacturers abandon motor shows to go to CES but with electronics, going green, eletric cars...

Yeah, I guess more people are into technology nowadays, and carmakers are following along. It's a pretty interesting time for large conventions like these.
