Proche began using three-dimensional printers to produce spare parts for its old classic cars, and it is no longer feasible to produce large quantities of spare parts in the company's traditional factories because it is economically and practically useless. Porsche has already succeeded in producing 8 spare parts that were not previously available and plans to expand the re-offering of another 20 pieces with the same technology.

These attempts may still be relatively isolated, but the future will undoubtedly greatly expand the use of 3D printing in the automotive component industry because of the tremendous benefits and advantages of this huge and expensive industry.
