Good News — a solution for Independent Musicians will launch on March 1st.

It is an ad-free digital music outlet called MediaCoin and it’s completely free for creative artists. You continue to own the rights to your music and you keep almost all of your revenue from sales.

To prevent piracy, after you upload it, MediaCoin encrypts your content.

Just so you know, I’m a MediaCoin employee. But I can answer most of your questions and help you get started with disrupting the current system, which I think you’d agree is broken... AF.
