A new hub for marketers

Targeted at audience comprising of teenagers (around 60-70% in total) , Snapchat is now not only a platform for photo-sharing or having fun, but it has now transformed into a digital market where marketers and businessmen (of course not necessarily in white collars) advertise their products and services.

These marketers have taken advantage of the curious and not-so aware young generation to try whatever the products they are exposed.

With short ads of 2-3 minutes, or games promoting the products, marketers have easily managed to grab the young mind’s attention to these products which they might not be knowing from elsewhere.

Studies have shown that people viewing ads through snapchat will be using that product more likely, or will be watching that movie as compared to normal advertising.

Even if Snapchat is quite behind in terms of advertising, promotions and other stuffs across the world, it has managed to be the number 1 social networking app in US.
