Intel responds to the pressure of its competitors: Is on its way with ambitious processor line-up this fall!

When Intel's next generation of mainstream Core processors unleash the market in the fall, the chip giant will put out with one of its most ambitious assortments for a long time.

According to information from the Wccftech network, October 1, when Intel will launch its first Core i9 processors to the mainstream market.

In the new 9th generation Core processors, Intel will offer four K models, all of which can be overclocked as needed: Core i9 9900K, Core i7 9700K, Core i5 9600K, and Core i3 9350K.

Prices are expected to land at 450, 350, 250 and 170 US dollars, respectively.

The biggest news will be the 9900K top model, becoming the first Core i9 processor, which is not exclusively aimed at the more expensive Intel enthusiast and workstation platforms.

Here are eight kernels on board, which can handle up to 16 threads in total. The Core i7 and i5 variants offer eight core / threads and six cores / threads respectively.

With the new processors, however, no new architecture follows. They are manufactured according to the same 14nm process technology as last year's 8th generation Core processors, but with more raw computing power than last year's Core thanks to more cores and slightly higher frequencies.

The fact that Intel does not introduce any new architecture with its autumn collection has an advantage. If you have a motherboard from Intel's existing 300 chipset series, it will work with the new processors.

Intel's new line-up comes in the wake of launch of the archive fair AMD's successful launch of both the Threadripper 2 and Ryzen 2 processors, where AMD is again competitive thanks to more computing cores and improved architectural architecture.

At the same time, Intel is in a current management crisis, in which company's then CEO, Brian Krzanich, had to step down in June during an ongoing reorganization of the company.
