In light of the recent debacle, where Alexa mistakenly recorded a private conversation and shared it with another person, you might want to know what exactly Alexa has on you. And you can do just that and also easily delete the recordings by following either of the two methods below:
You can delete all the stored recordings directly from the Amazon website by heading to the 'Manage Your Content & Devices' section, selecting your Alexa-powered device, and deleting the recordings by clicking on the 'Manage voice recordings' option.
You can also select individual recordings using the Alexa app. Select the 'History' option under the Alexa Account tab in the app settings, and delete the recordings you want.
But, before you start take note that deleting recordings might hamper Alexa's performance, so proceed at your own discretion.
