ASUS Announces ZenBook Pro with ScreenPad Technology
There is a recent trend in which a computer is developed for the purpose of being able to perform multiple tasks and support users of various circles and professions instead of developing laptops or PCs for certain circles. A good laptop should certainly be able to support the productivity of its users in an innovative way. To realize this, ASUS at Computex 2018 event this time presents Zenbook Pro series with interactive ScreenPad technology!
What is ScreenPad?
This is a 5.5 inch (FHD 1920 x 1080) Super IPS + display with wide view technology , located on the touchpad. Uniquely, this screen does serve as a regular touchpad - even with Precision Touchpad support that supports a variety of smart gesture . Asus protects this touchpad with a tough antigores glass layer.
In addition to functioning as a regular touchpad, ScreenPad can act as an interactive screen with functions that adjust to our work all, as well as help do multitasking and complete a lot of work. Its functionality can change automatically when we switch apps, and users can also create their own shortcuts for this ScreenPad. With Screen Extender mode , we can also extend the laptop screen to ScreenPad, thus creating a 'dual display' (of course with a small screen on the touchpad)!
To get an idea of how ScreenPad functions, you can see the following video.
Not just innovative technology, ASUS also provides improvements to this Zenbook spec for optimal performance. Zenbook Pro will come with Intel Core i9 CPU (six-core), GeForce 1050 Ti with 4GB memory, 1TB SSD and 16GB RAM. For screens, Zenbook Pro uses a UHD NanoEdge that has an ultra-thin bezel. This screen has also been validated with congenital color accuracy (100% Adobe RGB), so it will be a great capital for videographers and photo editors who need a powerful laptop for their work.
The Zenbook Pro also supports ASUS Pen which can detect up to 1024 pressure variants from 10g up to 300g. Users can also use it in a 45 ° inclined position - a lot of creators desire.
For a more complete audio experience, ASUS partnered with Harman Kardon to upgrade ASUS SonicMaster technology, which is claimed to be 1.4x louder than previous Zenbook versions.
Zenbook Pro 15 will be able to survive up to 9.5 hours thanks to its large battery (71Wh). This laptop also supports fast charging, so you can charge this laptop to 60% in just 49 minutes!
