Hi Mark. I wanted to thank you for sharing this info a few months back. I can't really say I've ever won anything substantial... until today when I received my limited edition Core i7 in the mail.
Thanks for making this possible and being a great Steem witness!
OMG really? I'm so jelly. I want one of them so bad.
The odds of the few people who followed through here winning one is astronomical.
I'm a little blown away muhself!! hahahahha this is awesome... good job Mark
thanks so much for sharing this data
Damn, this is a great contest but as an Australian I am not elgible for entry. I received a popup that said:
I don't understand why Australia wouldn't be included, it's part of Asia somewhat (South East Asia). Oh well, whoever wins one of these is going to be absolutely ecstatic.
A lot of contests are limited to certain countries and Australia seems to get screwed all the time. I remember when Adobe announced the release of the last Creative Suite and it was more expensive as an Australian to fly to the United States, buy a copy, and fly back than to buy it in Australia.
I love the accent though, so you got that going for you.
Haha, absolutely. You only have to Google the terms, "Australia tax" to see a detailed history of Australians being ripped off in comparison to everyone else in the world. At least we have kangaroos and deadly spiders going for us as well, not sure that actually helps alleviate the pain of exclusion.
Good luck in the contest, you'll have to do a nice little write-up if you win a CPU because that would be fantastic.
Would be awesome to win one of these little cuties, because I had an ancestor of them in the 90s. Just because I read x86 cpus I am having a lot of great flashbacks and now I think I have to play the good old Wing Commander or civ1 xD
Thank you for that ^^
In reality, all CPUs are sold underclocked to give the illusion of overclocking and satisfy the nerds. This is just another CPU with a high spec, I doubt anyone will be able to overclock it beyond that 5 Ghz.
They actually bin the CPUs. Many of them are the same CPUs are sold as different models depending on how they "test". This way they don't have to make as many individual models. The process of binning (choosing labeling CPU near what they benchmark) tends to keep the tolerances tight.
Not available for my country - Nigeria.
Sir,@themarkymark you make me crazy.
Lol
It's a monster )))
I didn't even read the rest of you post, just clicked on you like my life was on the line 😭, I wanna get this so badly because there are so many games (own an shitty low budget AMD processor).
Thank you so much dude.
