V.R., 360 degree video & A.I. may disrupt the workplace in very weird ways.
WORKING REMOTELY
The battle for management of the collaborative work spaces of the future are about to begin.
#VirtualReality "TelePresence" allows employees , regardless of their location, to meetup and collaborate in realistic locations, for visual and immersive presentations. This offers an incredible list of available creative environments (#360images and #360video) and fantastic tools . ie "apps" that can be used within the work space.
Depending on the UI UX design, It's possible that an employer in VR could oversee his employees, while his staff are in 'their own little bubbles of perception' working in VR. ( Shared, and un-shared environments and experiences can be transitioned easily based on need, like tabs on a browser.)

Profitable and efficient at reducing travel and communication times, you can expect that businesses will be looking into this very seriously over the next few years. They should, kids today are the work-from-home-generation in VR training right now.

Technology has really made the impossible of 19th century realities of 21st century. Nevertheless, I still believe some of the listed projects would definitely come to pass but not so soon. They are too ambitious for now, ambitious isn't synonymous to impossible. #mythought
My first telepresence experience happened while I was browsing the internet on my phone. I came across a post by a guy who had a variety of small robots running around his house that you could log into and control. I ended up in one with a Donald Trump mask and drove around kicking a ball around this dude's kitchen.
The future is going to be very different.
I have been making 360 videos at festivals. Then I saw that Portlandia where they had drones at festivals so people could telepresence in from the couch. NOT what I was going for but a funny take on this possible future.
