We were intrigued to learn about Sergey Kubasov and his journey that led him to his current position. So, we asked, “Can you please provide us with some information about yourself, including your early life and education?”
Sergey passionately shared, “Actually, I am quite a seasoned technological CEO, but my favorite part is being a crisis manager. I successfully extinguished a bunch of large corporate fires by using some uncommon approaches. I worked in the C-Suite of Russian tech giants such as VK.com, Mail.Ru Group, and AliExpress Russia — got things done, from implementing technological strategies to building mobile COVID-19 labs from the ground.
My path started from the position of system administrator. That is why critical systems’ reliability is deep inside my professional DNA, and I pay much attention to these things. I have a Master’s degree in Management and an associate degree in computer science.”

He shared, “In February of 2024, my wife and I founded a consulting company called Advix. Advix is a boutique technology consulting agency founded by C-suite experts from billion-dollar fintech, banking, technology, and social platform companies. We help businesses increase revenue and avoid unnecessary risks guiding in domains of Web3 & Digital Asset Adoption, Cybersecurity, IT Efficiency and Strategy, and Legal & Compliance Advisory. Our mission is to drive sustainable growth by equipping businesses with actionable insights.”

Emphasizing the importance of practical approaches, Sergey responded, “I think that individual approach, deep diving into the customer’s problem or task, and extensive experience can make a successful leader in our industry and most other industries as well. At the same time, It is important not to make unrealistic promises, especially in cases where your experience is insufficient.
I believe that only honest and open cooperation in a ‘win-win’ manner allows you to build a thriving successful business.”

“Build a strong team and let them work. You might be surprised about the efficiency, proactivity, self-organization, and self-motivation of each team member and the whole team. Be honest and believe in what you are doing.” Sergey concluded.
