GoPro: Hero 6 Black and 360-degree camera fusion announced
Actioncam manufacturer GoPro has announced its new cameras. The Hero 6 Black is visually identical with its predecessor, but offers better technology. The GoPro Fusion is the first 360-degree camera of the manufacturer
GoPro Hero 6 Black
The new Hero 6 Black comes in the same housing as the Hero 5 Black. This is also good, after all, the manufacturer had only changed this at the last model and adapted the new accessories including drone to this format. Thus the Hero 6 Black is also waterproof up to ten meters.
Inside, however, a lot has happened: the new heart of the GoPro-Actioncam is a specially developed processor. The GP1 is intended to ensure that you can now record with more pictures per second, but also improves the picture quality. This is especially evident in the dynamic range and in the case of recordings with little light. In addition, according to GoPro scenes and settings are analyzed better to their content, in order to create more beautiful automatic videos, the so-called "QuickStories". These are created in the GoPro app on your smartphone. The calculated image stabilization is now due to the GP1 so well that even without gimbal wackelfreie record succeeds. The data transmission from camera to mobile phone is to be with the new Hero 6 Black three times as fast as before.
4K videos (3840 x 2160 pixels) you take now with 60 instead of 30 pictures per second. Also the slow motion has been improved: With the full HD resolution (1920 x 1080 pixels) you film with up to 240 videos instead of 120 frames per second. This results in a slowdown that is ten times slower than real-time. The new Hero 6 Black is now available for 569.99 euros.
