iOS or Android? A deep analysis
To many of the newcomers of smartphone. You might be puzzled that whether to choose between two entirely different Mobile operating system which is the two "Giant", iOS designed by the Apple Inc. and Android developed by Google Inc. To just have a clearer look on their differences. I would put version aside and mainly talk about how they are mainly different at.
Firstly, as if you have aware that i have used the term "designed" for the iOS and "developed" for the Android. Their appearance have a very prominent difference.
The following is the iOS 10 version(currently newest)
The following is the Android 8 (ready to release)
Although both the user interface is clear and neat, but it is no doubt that the iOS is more eye-catching and a bit tidier in hte distribution of the application icon. The use of colour is more harmony than the android one.
Secondly, talking about the autonomy and functionality. Android has a relatively higher so called "freedom" for you to do whatever you want. The fundamental core is that android is indeed a open source platform , meaning that all people are able to look what is actually inside the code. This provide or guarantee a certain and important degree of autonomy for all Android user. For example, android application is packaged to be in Android application package (.apk) format.

Logo of App Store:
Unlike iOS which application can only or accurately speaking normally downloading from the App Store, android allow user to download the Android application package (.apk) elsewhere and install it without the existence of market although downloading from market is still encouraged because of the security problem. Also, Android have a bunch of setting for you to manipulate or modify according to your preference or usage experience and needs. It is not saying that iOS is all the way forbidden to manipulate the setting, but obviously and undoubtedly android provide you a lot more.
For example, the Developer Option which provide many extra function which is necessary for software development, such as the USB debugging, etc. While it does not appeared in the iOS Setting Menu and developer need to do a bunch of step to perform what they can be done within a tip of finger with the android platform.
Overall, frankly speaking, both platform have its own advantage and disadvantage. Therefore, you should definitely be choosing it according to your needs. If you do not afraid for complexity and enjoy the freedom. And you supposed to used it for mainly productivity-related reason, such as work or school, maybe typing document elsewhere like on train, during dining, etc. I sincerely recommend you to choose the Android one, cause it is suitable to do things with much more productive type of application. Otherwise, you enjoy fancy and beautiful stuff and you mainly used it for recreational purpose, such as playing your game when your are traveling around or watching movie or TV episodes or shooting photos, listening to music, etc. iOS will definitely be your choice because you are not going to worry on the settings, iOS is user-friendly enough to this extent (recreational purpose). And it have a relatively more choices for relaxation application, such as games and music-listing app, which you will be definitely interested in it.
