Adolescence: Physical and Emotional Changes What Happens During the Stages of Adolescence?

Hello Steemiants, how are you? I hope it's ok. In this post you will know some transcendental physical, psychic and emotional changes that occur during the stages of adolescence.

How nice it is, to see a lot of young people who flow everywhere ... young restless, vibrant, dreamers, who are no longer children but neither adults, who in full effervescence of life, pass through adolescence, that period of the individual so difficult for many, full of sensitivity, fears, insecurity and instability of being, which are developed in 3 stages, each marked by changes, which in our opinion, are transcendental and that are given in a particular way in each. Let's see what those stages are:

Early adolescence: Occurs between 11 and 13 years, where considerable external and internal changes occur. In the physical aspect, the parts of the body grow in an evident way and begin to develop, being that in the girls the breasts grow, the first menstruations arrive and the curvatures of the hips, glutes and the contour of the thighs begin to form. In addition, the female hormones are activated, making them more striking.

This stage of adolescence, indicates that the body is prepared for sexual maturity, conception and breastfeeding, so the young girl, who is not a girl but not a woman, should be very careful, since their reproductive organs have not reached her full maturity, but her sexual hormones can impel her to have sexual relations, exposing herself to unwanted pregnancies at such a young age, which would be an irreparable error that would harm her life in the immediate future.

In boys also all their parts grow, some faster than others. The genitals and the bony system develop and gain size, while the musculature is slower, although some breaks in the pectorals are visualized. Wet dreams, erections and ejaculations caused by sensations captured through the senses are also present. There is a change in the voice making it indefinite, that is, sometimes it is heard acutely and in others it is heard in a serious tone.

The physical appearance of these adolescents is different from that of the children they were, since in both sexes the face changes and grains usually emerge, the beautiful pubic and axillary are present; in males, beautiful legs, whiskers and beards appear.

This change of appearance provokes in the adolescents, mixed emotions that together with the sensitivity generated by the social environment (family, school, friends) condition the attitudes that each one shows.

Another remarkable aspect in these adolescents is that they strengthen the sense of friendship, usually with members of the same sex; they begin to take care of their personal appearance, while they focus more on team play.

In both cases they begin to be attracted to the opposite sex, but do not show it openly, because they are still shy to show their feelings and interest towards the other person. These guys, also tend to change their mood from one moment to the next, begin to resist authority and have their first manifestations of irreverence.

Average Adolescence: It occurs between 14 and 17 years, in both sexes continue their bodily development, a little slower but definitive; The young woman completely assumes the body of a woman, making her more feminine and attractive to the opposite sex. Her sexual organs indicate that she is ready to conceive and breastfeed, although her mental maturity is still in process, disabling her to assume responsible motherhood, so if she maintains an active sexual life, she should protect herself from unwanted pregnancies as well as from infectious diseases. -contagious.

In the young man his muscles are completely formed and his deep voice is defined making him more manly and pleasant to the other sex. At this stage most of them are already sexually active and are ready to father, but like the female, the male has not yet reached the mental maturity necessary to have a responsible fatherhood, so he should be responsible to himself, to the avoid procreation, protecting yourself from it and sexually transmitted diseases.

The majority of young people belonging to this group of adolescents still do not define their feelings, behaviors and behaviors towards themselves and their environment, since emotional instability continues, they reinforce irreverence and usually take risks that can put them in danger, since they are unable to control their impulses, so they can not yet assess the consequences of their actions.

They also manifest openly and clearly the liking or love they can feel for someone in particular and end up having more or less lasting courtships. In both sexes they are looking to establish their own identity.

Late adolescence: Process that takes place between 17 and 21 years, where young people reach optimal physical and mental development, abandon self-centeredness, establish their own priorities and with respect to a group, being able to help others.

They make decisions based on reason and judgment. In this phase the adolescent brain reaches full maturity, establishing its full identity and independence, being enabled in the physical, emotional and cognitive, prepared to start and develop in their full and satisfactory adult life.
