Bleeding Gums, It's A Problem

in #teethandgums3 years ago (edited)

Inflammation of the gum tissue is indicated by bleeding gums. Bacteria can be found on plaque that was missed while brushing. Redness and inflammation develop over time.

Plaque and bacteria are trapped in a small concavity in the gum tissue between your teeth. With a toothbrush, cleaning this area is challenging. In addition, failing to clean between your teeth on a daily basis can lead to plaque and bacteria buildup, causing your gums to swell and bleed.

Think again if you think a little bleeding now and again is normal. Healthy gums do not bleed, plain and simple.
