After Today, Registration of SIM Card to Store is Still Served

Jakarta (ANTARA News) - The Indonesian Telecommunication Regulatory Body (BRTI) and the Association of Indonesian Telecommunications Providers (ATSI) have held a meeting on prepaid SIM card registration today (Monday, 30/4/2018) at the Ministry of Communication and Informatics Building (Kominfo).
It was agreed that the deadline for re-registration would expire on 30 April today, precisely at 24.00 WIB. Both agree that there is no extension of time for old customers who want to register their mobile numbers.
It was known when met with ATSI Chairman Merza Fachys at Ministry of Communications and Informatics Building. He said the government and mobile operators declared a vote if today is the last day of registration of a prepaid SIM card validated by the National Identity Number (NIK) and Family Card Number (KK).
Merza explained that if there are customers who have not had time to register the prepaid card, but in the condition still have active period until beyond the time of May 1, then the customer still have the opportunity of registration of cellular number it.
"It can still but must go directly to the (outlet) operator, can not be via SMS.All re-registration path to be done alone, it's closed, that's the meaning of total blocking," said Merza.
