Para los apasionados y amantes del deporte ciencia, y partidarios de la abolición del control que ejerce el oligopolio de las redes sociales privativas, que por ello deciden ser fieles a la filosofía e ideales del software libre y en un acto de subversión optan por usar Telegram; se les hace conocer la existencia de dos bots funcionales a la fecha para jugar el tan adictivo ajedrez con otros usuarios de la libertaria app.

  Desarrollado por el usuario Piterden de Github; al iniciar el bot(/start) y crear un nuevo juego se lista la partida iniciada(tu ID/waiting), lo que significa que espera a que alguien acepte iniciar la partida, al unirse alguien, en lista de partidas se listará(tu ID/ID de tu contrincante), esto identificará su partida del resto de partidas que tengan con otros usuarios.
  Las funcionalidades de "game options" se encuentran en desarrollo refiere Piterden, se experimenta una mayor fluidez al utilizar el bot para jugar directamente que al hacerlo en un grupo. En ocasiones el bot se encuentra inhabilitado, por cuestiones de desarrollo, y no responde, para luego funcionar normalmente. Se puede acceder al código fuente en Github.

  Bot listado en botlist.co, este hace uso del soporte html5 de Telegram para brindar una interfaz intuitiva, su uso es sencillo debido a que funciona inline por lo que basta con escribir el nombre del bot en el chat del contrincante para elegir el juego e iniciar la partida, o simplemente iniciar el bot y enviar el mensaje de inicio del juego al usuario deseado.
